New Maps

Ok. So we have some new maps, namely:

- Blitz
- Red Rooms
- Iron Igloos
- Paintball
- Doughnut
- The Flag Chamber

There are others, I think, but I haven't had the pleasure of playing them yet.
Here are my comments:

Blitz - I love this map. It feels good, it looks good, it's rather original and it's interesting to play in. There's a whole topic for it, though, so I guess we don't have to talk about that one too much. Jonny, good job.

Red Rooms - Haven't played enough in it, but it seems good.

Iron Igloos - Badly planned, with the jumppad-path leading to a central... something, which gets you nowhere except lost in myriad teleporters or just above the enemy's base, but still on foot and with no advantage. Basically, it boils down to a mantarun-tank conflict. Capturing on foot is nearly impossible, and the land vehicles are all staying in base for defense. As I said, "The Uffish Map Report says: PURGE".

Paintball - We had a bad game there. It's got some potential, but it's too large and too uninteresting (lots of space with trees and nothing else). The underground tunnel thingy has potential, but mostly it's just mantarunning again. I'd play this one again just to make up my mind, but I don't expect too much of it.

Doughnut - seems interesting. We played there when the house was full, which is sub-optimal. It's a small map better suited for 4vs4 or so, IMO. However the vehicles don't feel so useful there. I'd play this one again as well before I make up my mind.

The Flag Chamber - Huge map. Multiple paths to go through, vehicles are actually useful but you can still cap on foot thanks to the jumppad and side roads (reminds me a little of Nephthys, only a lot larger and with better lighting). I'l enjoy playing this map again. Keep it.

These are of course my own opinions. Let's hear the rest of ya.

the spawnpoints in "The flag chamber" suck imo, if the vehicles are gone you have to walk a long way to get to weapons and other vehicles

True dat. Also, I've noticed there is no way to get to the upper pathways from the ground below, which makes intercepting flagruns a lot harder. It'd be better if the side spawnpoints (those near the benders) would have a way that leads upward, to the upper pathways. Kinda like Nephthys does, with the middle plate thingy getting you up when you really need to.
