Would be nice if u could fix the spidermines cause u got the latest map version on ya pc and iam very busy with this: But if u dont find time for it i do it. Anyway thx for help me gettin maps better.? :) ;)
ps: thats only a screenshot i make beta1 much better with more and better houses terrain, effects and lotz of statics.

Later note: At this time it looked really crap smile. But every start looks funny.

sure, it wont take a minute rly, jus wondering if you wanted to do it as its ur map. If you can think of any other things you want changed (or if the men would suggest any) then tell me and i can change it.

Nice! looks very actioncity like  ;) The lighting looks better than ur previous maps here and uv added fog  :)

Maby you could add a few more terrain layers to add some 'umph' to the terrain - otherwise looks good  >:D

Word of advice: finish off the maps you already began constructing prior to churning out nothing but new betas.

To Annihilator: Afghanistan is finished after the spidermines on the roof. 1945 needs only a bit more work. But for that the only thing ppl said was that the jumppad from top hurt ya. Maby some to the sounds but i still think it gives that map ambient. Mantaskills need lot of work true but i dropped that map a bit in the background. And the 1 i work on gets hopefully a final version directly. So after that map is ready i wont start a new 1 b4 all betas ready.? :) ;)

To Jonny: It gets some more layers its only 70% ready. I also have to drop vec path in. But for now it runs very well on fps even on low pc's and all that could change it is already in, so i luv it yet. smile

I have another map in the works called subduction, but i also need to heed annihilators words - My only 'finished' map so far is blitz, so what im aiming to do is work on roadkill, aeolus and marsbase - take them up to the next beta and to finals as soon as beta1 of subduction is released. I know this is kinda off topic but heres a taster:  :)

It looks nice. Btw i have a little problem @ the map i work on. Maby u or some1 can help me: I got  the map 95% ready. I have add alot of stuff to it but when i now rebuild it the terrain is suddenly flat. I mean all the hills n rocks gone to the main flat terrain. That begins to make me mad cause it was alot of work to place all correct and now the only light i see is to make the hills and rocks exactly same new so all path nodes icons and road path placed well again. Damn that will b endless work then if i dont find the mistake.  ???  :)

Hmm thats strange, iv only ever heard of the terrain dissapearing, not becoming completely flat, so im not sure what to do! ASAP, 'save as' the map with a new name, then check out all the autosaves (0-9) and see if you can find one which is recent but does not yet have the flat terrain problem. Obviously if you find one like that, 'save as' it with a new name. Make sure when you are terrain editing that you have the right setting on. Many times i have thought i was painting layers in one of the isometric views but accidentally had it on sculpting the terrain.

Maby look this problem up on google and see if you can find any forums about it.  Sorry i can't be more useful ???

Make it as a habit to save the map with a new name after every majour change you make to it (v1, v2 etc). Then its easy to step back and start over from a earlier stage when something messes up, or as in this case open up the latest with the correct terrain, copy the terrain info, open the latest version and after deleting the current info paste the old one.

Still dont know what i made wrong and posted it in some editor forums. But the ppl there didnt got that b4 2.  I have remade the terrain as it was b4 now. That was work smile but now it looks cool. Now i will safe each new ver like u said. I did that b4 to but maby not enough hehe. In the autosafe i dont found a good version 2.   :) ;)

1945-War, Aeolus, Afghan, Roadkill (& the latest addition, Submerged-VW) need to get out of beta so I can create a second version of tPW's VCTF map pack by Christmas. I'd like those maps to be in the pack, but I won't add beta maps into it.

Affirmative! Ill make it my mission from now till xmas to get aeolus, afghan and roadkill up to final. Aeolus and Roadkill i will put through another beta, but this will be done quickly, just to finalize and last suggestions on how the maps should be. BUT...im relying on tPW community to post about what they think could be improved in these maps. You cant have it both ways - complaining that a map is bad online, but not posting any suggestions either. To be fair i've got a fair amount on input from people like uffish and anakas and nova about roadkill, and a little on aeolus, but i cant go by one or two peoples opinion on what needs to be changed in a map.

Uffish, i've taken into account ur comments on roadkill, and im changing the whole middle platform area the best i can in the time available. As for the bases they'll remain the same but for afew tweaks -minigun turret instead of lazer, some avril lookouts, and jumppads for faster foot escapes - we'll see what people think when the next beta is released.

As for Aeolus, im probably only going to only tweak this map as i like how it looks, and kinda how it plays. The paladin will come back, jumppads added/tweaked, and all the routes will be mulled over in terms of how they work with gameplay. Ill also try and up fps in all the maps.

Afghanistan just needs locationnames, no mine ammo and error checks, so that won't take long. ANYWAY!!! ill rly appreciate any suggestions from people about aeolus/roadkill (maby even marsbase) so thanks in advance if you take the time to post about em'   ;)
