I just want to clarify that Annihilator doesn't mean that the packages has to be added to the zip, they has to be added into the myLevel package of the map. All extra content in a map (eccept custom music) must be embedded, 1 map = 1 file. There is nothing more frustrating for a server admin trying to add maps to the map cycle and it turns out packages are missing, especially if there is a redirect to take care of too.

MantaPark is a camp map where half of the players camp with an avril which means that as soon as you enter a Manta you will hear "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" so you can only go by feet on the small bridge or swim for two minutes. If you use the bridge, it will be a deathmatch, if you swim, you will get shot on the way back. In any case, with more than 10 players this map is terrible.

i understand... but how to add mutators (.u, .ucl, .int) into map? there aren't myLevel package =\ or what?

   4. If you previously had cut/removed existing actors from that package from your map, paste/re-add them.
   5. Do a full rebuild, then save.

Notes: After importing a package in this way, the actor browser in UnrealEd 2 will not show any imported actors that are direct descendants of actor (and possibly some others deeper in the tree too) unless you first deselect then reselect the Show Actor Classes Only checkbox to force a reload of the tree.

If you subsequently delete the single instance of the Mutator from your map, then re-Build and re-Save, the Mutator code will be deleted from the map and you will have to repeat all these steps to embed it again. (See MyLevel and Embedding Code for more on this)

Note: For UT2003 and UT2004, in order to complete step 5 and actually add the mutator actor into your map, you need to specify the mutator as placeable. This is easily achieved by adding the command word when you define the class as below:

class MutEmbeddedTest extends Mutator placeable;

(the last part should be done in the mut allready)

For the mantarunassist mutator I don't really understand why you added it to the map since it's a server actor. The server admin can add it if he/she wishes, it's not really up to the mapper imo. And since it's a server actor I don't think Nova even made it placeable.

but i have one question... how i can fast define, which files needed to current map? (not to check myLevel packages in Textures, SMeshes, Sounds, Animations and other... or watch what are In-Used pack) ??? it is so slow to find all atachment files.. =\

I'm not sure if there is a way to list it directly out of the editor. One simple way you can try is to make a fresh second install of ut2004 without adding any custom content, maybe on another partition, try to load up the map in instant action and then check the logs to see what it couldn't load.

The v8: with extra tunnel of hiding section too mongrel spam campering inside :(, complex and too guard safety.
A plus too, the two jumpers on v8, are too high in that fact that u can arrive in one jump to opposite base, before that was impossible in v6 increasing the time options for return flag, putting under an obligation you for create with shield some good form to arrive(adrenaline), to remain with skill the enemy attack and You were not damaging yourself so much when fall. In the v8 you have given too many facilities and in this one has to be neutral enough, that has to squeeze the map as new player.

Well Sm1th I played some of your maps, and I suggest you some things: make your maps less spammy... Almost all are very spammy. You can avoid it if you put lighting guns and shock rifles near the spawn points and DON'T use sniper rifle, and remove annoying spiders, and maybe minigun too. Look [ApA]Starrz2, a one of the best maps I've ever played, no spiders, no minigun, no turrets, LG & Shock on map, pure skill. Recently palyed GrandCanyon, which are full of minispam and spiders... Ok these belong to the game, but low-skilled players use these too much (or i should say they use only these and rockets) and they are annoying if you have to fight 4 or 5 of them in the same time. And both sides has 2 tanks... This isnt a good idea, the map isn't big enough to have 4 tanks, players use it to spawnkill their opponents. And why is there sniper rifle in the spawnpoints? Everyone likes lg, cuz it does more damage and instantly hit. just some suggestions, the maps look nice tbh, and I can't make a room in UnrealED, so only some suggestions from a player, who bored spam  :D Good luck with your maps in the future!

yepp  8) i agree with u =) i like spammy maps, old map included spiders (I made maps with all weapons...) but now I am making maps without spiders, because i understood this what u said about noobs :) so now I think MantaPark_v2 will be ready for uploading... wait some minutes.. I will test it now  8)

spam Bania_v702... write coments about new geometry and repport about bugs if U find it...  :)
