Now in english, I would like to ask why is there no anti tcc or punkbuster or what u might call it a thing against bots on tpw server, it is my favourite server since i started playing ut2004 and i am frustrated to see players using bots and killing all d fun in game and me !
I came to the knowledge of some players really playin with zellius bot(the only one i know),just for say-i didnt know till a few days ago that u can turn d bot on and off and be unnoticed like that, and they r from big clans, i mena clans with a reputation so i wont say who those are! discretion is my thing(and i am not talkin about that ex aka posted on www.3oclan.com)
It is just a question, cause i dont mind dying in game, but i hate loosing and dying from bot shots!

well i am not an admin but here is my humble opinion.antitcc and safegame except for loading the server with useless crap have a minor to 0 chance to catch a botter.Unfortunately this is how much developed ,current bots are.Only the fact that almost all people have learned and speak about aimbots shows the dimensions of the problem and how much publicity they have got.There is no smoke without fire they say here.There is nothing much that anyone can do as most aimbots are undetectable from  non expert human eyes in most cases.All we can do is ,just play the game , enjoy , and leave the botters in their imaginary happiness.


note: still issues that if you have undisputable evidence of someone botting share them with us and he ll be life-banned from server probably

O.k. but I've been playin for some time now and I sense it, but I could be wrong, is there a better way of knowing, tell me please, I think that through my 2 years of playin, and playin with some people who tutored me( they had 2 years ago over 8 000 hours of playin experience) since my beginings I have a feeling of what is possible and what is not!
When I play with people who i know for a longer period of time I am at the top first five or so and then come some new names and they hit for example my manta every time no matter what stunts I do( with shock), no matter d distance, and their shock's come periodically faster then I myself can shoot!So I just wanna know how to concretelly know or recognize a bot, cause they can turn it off if they want too, and cause it spoils my fun and can not enjoy this beatifull game as I should.
And of course to say, I can be wrong in accusations(miss spell), but too many times I had d feeling I was right and couldnt do shit!Like some sort of check up, or seeing what is different except of perfect aim 7 out of 10 times or somethin like that!
Please inform me how to better recognize these pests that have no own skills!

i, myself cant recognise a person using a bot except if it is too obvious.My understanding is that most bots have been programmed so they are not recognisable if you spec the player using it.There are certainly some techiques but this is expert knowledge.Your feeling could be wrong because you mostly play vctf and havent met players that can headshot you from every position.So i say again dont worry too much and dont take it by heart.If one feels he must cheat in a game and think winning is the only purpose then this person deserves only your pity and not your anger.

Well I think the easiest way to recognize a cheater is his skills. most cheaters have no skills, cant aim thats why they use aimbot. These players have no movement, tactics, etc and they are often bunny-hopping ans shoot shoot shoot (I didn't want to use the word n00b ). Skilled players have movement, you can't hit them easily but they hit u, however there are some cheaters freom them too but not as many as n00b cheaters.

Was true, but TAM have spawned a new breed of asshats in the UT community. Since TAM requires a minimum of brain activity it's no surprise it attracts these kind of ppl. ^^

But mustap- is right, no point in letting the mofo's spoil the fun. Play on and don't worry about the botters. Mostly that guy hitting your manta and head shotting you across the map is just a no-life who have played this game way too much. =)
